Is it impossible to get to the top position on Google?

This is a question that many people ask themselves when looking to invest in a new website. Many companies believe that it is possible to build a website and achieve podium place within a matter of days. In some cases this is true but for the majority this fallacy simply doesn’t exist. Like anything in business getting to the top takes time unless you have a bottomless cheque book.

The Truth...

There are millions of websites which now cover every subject imaginable to the human mind and with this revelation comes competition. Google mainly judge sites by popularity and quality – the more popular you are the more they want you at the top of their website. The great thing about search engines are that they are open to anyone and with the right resource you can work your way up to compete against the elite. There are many techniques to achieve good results, all which are well practised by everyone who knows anything about website hosting. The truth is good old advertising will always prevail; cheating the system will only cause the opposite affect.

The number of hits you achieve from your website doesn’t necessarily dictate success alone. You might be surprised to find out that Google is able distinguish colours, relevance, spelling mistakes and grammar, amongst others. Quality of content is equally as important as popularity with most search engines. It is also essential to create a good layout for your website as it can encourage search engines to find the most relevant content, faster.

Associating with other websites can also boost your rankings. Please read Affiliation...

Affiliation

As with any business, affiliation can be an essential element to survive in today’s competitive environment. Business to business relationships can open opportunities that were previously overlooked. Search engines also view this as an essential element of business and will judge your website accordingly. If you are able to build up regular hits from a catalogue of links from other websites, your position will be rewarded. If you have a diverse range of affiliates in place you will find this can also increase your ranking. Do not underestimate the intelligence of some search engines as they can identify companies that try to cheat the system!

Understanding what you do :-

At Easinet we know that design alone cannot convey the years of experience and dedication you have developed through your organisation. The main difference between us and other web design companies is the time we spend with you to attain a feel for what you do. It is essential for us to expose personality through your website as this can be the key to maintaining interest once the popularity has been gained. Injecting personality into a website can also make your website unique from others, which will make it easier for your ideal audience to find you.

In order for us to improve our knowledge and understanding of your organisation, we employ designers from diverse backgrounds, such as :- property, retail, motor trade, teaching, nursing, marketing, catering etc. This way we aim to provide you with someone on the wave length, to take your project forward. Before we even think about putting pen to paper we choose to meet with our clients to discuss priorities and expectation.

How to we get your business noticed?

Our web designers are trained to deliver a sharp, uncluttered interface which reflects the style and character your business in renowned for.

We understand that a good designer alone is not enough and a detailed understating of what you do is imperative.  A team that possesses an in-depth knowledge of ‘search engine optimisation’, inspiring design, and business sense, we believe, is a winning combination.

Marketing your business well is always going to be an important element of success. Part of the service we provide includes advice on maximising your exposure and keeping costs down. Please read ‘How to get to the top of Google’. There are hundreds of ways to get recognised on the World Wide Web and we believe we have most of the answers.

What are Key Words?

Another important component of web design which is highly respected by all search engines are ‘key words’. Using the correct words to describe your business can directly reflect the success of you're ranking on Google.  Placing your website in a highly competitive sector can do more harm than good if you are new to the web. Finding out what is unique about your organisation and building on these strengths are by far the most productive approach.

Too Expensive/ Cheaper to do it myself?

You will be pleasantly surprised how affordable a professional web designer can be. Web design companies are everywhere making it a very competitive and diverse service. It may be cheaper to produce your own website but please consider what message you can transmit using easily, replicated alternatives.  A good percentage of people can identify a ‘DIY’ website from a professional one and this may devalue your message.

How to choose a web designer

There are so many good web designers available today. We think the key is to find one that is able to understand your business and reflect that onto the screen. Please read :- Understanding what you do..../ How to get your business noticed....

Can I contact someone easily if I need to?

Once your website is up and running you will be designated an account manager that will be able to answer your calls and emails seven days a week. Any minor changes to your website can be made within 24 hours of you initial contact. Larger amendments will be completed quickly, within an agreed duration.

Maintenance Costs

Many customers fear that their website host will charge them heavy bills to maintain their website. At Easinet we give you a fixed price before you start so that you can budget accordingly. A lot of the small changes you may need you will be surprised to find are free of charge.

Annual domain charges will apply but are fixed at a five year period to ensure you do not incur any unexpected costs.

What will it cost me, roughly?

A complete website can cost from just £150 per year. Maintenance costs are charged at a fixed rate so you know how much everything costs from the start. We have designed it this way to help you incooperate the costs into your business plan. Updates vary in price as it will depend on the extent of the change, costs are usually set between £0-£75 for each modification. A complete website refresh can cost as little as £100 (existing Easinet customers only).

E-Commerce websites are set up differently due to the level of changes that are involved. Complete maintenance for this type of website will cost around £250 p/year inclusive. (This price is based on 50 changes per year).

How long does it take to build my website?

This question is completely dependant of the size and complexity of your site. At our initial meeting stage we will be able to confirm a deadline before you submit an order with us. If we fail to meet this agreed deadline a 20% reduction will be honoured. On average a six page website would usually take 2-3 weeks to complete.

What is E-Commerce?

If you are not familiar with web jargon you may have come across ‘E-commerce’ or Electronic Commerce and wondered what it involves. E-commerce is the perfect solution to boost your income if you currently own a retail business where you sell volumes of merchandise. Think of e-commerce as having your own shop window on the computer screen where customers can purchase goods from you. Electronic transactions involve the transfer of ownership or rights to use a good or service. Most people are familiar with business-to-consumer electronic business (B2C). Common illustrations include Amazon.com, llbean.com, CompUSA.com, travelocity.com, and hotels.com. This handy tool could also be used to buy and sell business to business.
